Itinerary:
This is your exclusive tour so you choose your itinerary.
Suggested departure time 7:00am from your hotel lobby
or you will be rushed. Your price includes the vehicle
for 10 hours (extra hours $30 per hour). Suggested first
stop at Chichen Itza followed by a dip at Ik Kil (minutes
away) and on to Ek Balam before returning.
Ik
Kil: Ik Kil is a beautiful blue cenote (a cenote
is a natural sinkhole) located some 82 feet below ground
level but fully open to the Caribbean sky. A place to
swim and relax in crystal clear water surrounded by lush
vegetation draping the sides of the cavern, it is the
perfect place to escape the intense heat and cool off.
Ek
Balam: Ek Balam boasts a 468 feet wide, 96 foot
high pyramid (The Acropolis) which you can climb to view
the other structures from on high at this recently excavated
site. A great place for the archaeology buff and minus
the crowds of Chichen Itza.
